Johnny Berry & the Outliers
Johnny Berry is a long-time musician and entertainer. He started his career many moons ago at the old Opryland Park. He has been a sideman to legendary performers such as Doyle Lawson and Charlie Sizemore. He won the 1999 SPBGMA Entertainer of the Year when he played bluegrass. Johnny started the Outliers in 2002, and since then is the 7-time "Best Country/Western band" winner of the Louisivlle Eccentric Observer's "Best of Louisville" list. He has appeared on the NPR show "Whad Ya Know" and his music is played worldwide. Johnny plays a Fender Precision Bass, a Martin oo Guitar and an single neck Sho Bud
Steve Cooley is the guitar slinging king. He has played with numerous famous people such as Jerry Reed, The Dillards and Wilma Lee Cooper. He is the yin to Johnny's yang. Steve has been nominated for a Grammy award and has played the Grand Ole Opry numerous times.
Ricky Puckett lays down the bass lines. Ricky is a long time member of the Lincoln Jamboree and is ready to honky tonk.
Lonney Tate keeps the groove on the drums. Lonney has played for many well known acts including Tom T. Hall, John Conlee and Vern Gosdin.
