Middletown Idol!
Middletown Idol is back, bigger and better than ever! Not only do the prizes rock, the house will too when the best and most talented karaoke lovers in the 'Ville take the stage. Sign ups start at 7:00 and the competition starts at 8:00. And speaking of competing, what are contestants competing for? THOUSANDS in CASH and PRIZES, with $750 in cash and some very cool swag going to first and $250 and more cool swag provided by River City Distributing and Wave3 going to second place!

Rules - The contest is free and open to anyone who would like to give it a try.
- Anyone who is under the age of 18 will be assigned an earlier performance time and the remaining participant's order will be decided randomly by the DJ at the beginning of the evening.
- Please arrive by 7:00pm in order to register and confirm your participation with the DJ. The show will start promptly at 8:00pm.
- If more than one contestant has chosen the same song for the same performance date, the contestant who registered first will be allowed to perform that song and the subsequent contestants will be asked to choose another song or perform their second song choice.
- Once song choices have been made, Wick's requests that they not be changed for the date registered. If a contestant would like to perform a different song, they may reregister for another qualifying round.Contestants who register for a qualifying round and do not show up for the performance without prior contact will not be allowed to perform in any remaining qualifying rounds.
- Performances will be judged on:
- Vocal performance
- Stage presence
- Audience reaction / Applause
- The contest will be held each Friday for 6 weeks. Weeks 1-4 will be qualifying rounds. Semi-Finals are on July 1st and Finals are on July 8th.
- Contestants will be notified of advancing the evening of their performance or if not present, by phone.
- Contestants may sing in each of the 4 qualifying rounds, if they so choose, but are not required to participate in more than one qualifying round.
