Louisville based Blues band, daMudcats have been performing throughout Kentucky and regionally for 32 years! They have been the opening act for musical icons like Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, James Cotton, Albert King, Marcia Ball, Buddy Guy and many more. daMudcats have performed in nightclubs, at private concerts, and music festivals locally and regionally. They have performed all over the State at festivals and clubs and traveled as far as California to perform at the Monterey Bay Blues Festival. They played at the very first Garvin Gate Blues Festival and continue to play their favorite festival often. Through the years daMudcats have released 6 independently produced CD’s the latest, released in October of 2016, Easy Does It, is available now through CDbaby.com, iTunes, on Facebook @Downinthealleyrecords or at any of daMudcats’ performances. The band was presented the Sylvester Weaver Award from the Kentuckiana Blues Society in 2006. daMudcats are honored to be a finalist for the 2017 Louisville Music Awards in the Blues category!
