Blues & Greys

In 2011 musician, singer-songwriter, and actor, Kirk Davis assembled a group of long time friends who happen to be some of Louisville’s finest and most respected musicians to form Blues & Greys.

Guitarist John Burgard, 2013 KBS contest winner who for over four decades has played in countless groups and settings: The Waters, Murphy’s Law, and The Tim Krekel Orchestra just to name a few.

Drummer Mike Algers, 2013 Kentuckiana Blues Society contest winner has played the Grand Ole Opry as well as having played with the Tim Krekel Orchestra, Bassist Rico Thomas of  Buster Brown/ Prankert's fame, and Bassist Mike Lynch, a long time player with Da Mud Cats and 2013 KBS winner.

They havetwo cd's; cd "Kirk Davis Blues and Greys", and 'No Cover Blues and Greys Live At Stevie Ray's Blues Bar'. As of late have played with Kentucky Head Hunter's Greg Martin, The Kentucky State Fair, Louisville Blues Brews and BBQ Music Festival, Jeffersonville Riverstage, Blues Between the Bridge's, Lake Harbor Blues Festival, Hot August Blues Festival and various venues in the Kentuckiania area.
